And the train is a comin' to get me

Well, I have officially entered the panic-stricken state of euphoria and fear. Not so much fear of the unknown, but fear of leaving everything I love. I suppose it is a burden to carry such blessings, for they are infinitely harder to let go of for even the smallest fraction of a second.
So, as Christmas approaches, things get more and more real, though nothing will compile the truth quite like my entering the airplane itself, the vessel of my leaving.

So, here is to Christmas, which I can pretend for now to be so enthralled with that I don't notice the looming and illuminating date which really dents the calendar......December 28th!

Giddy-up, we're almost to the clearing.

Still looking for fitted wings.....

So, not quite footloose and fancy free...but I am getting there! Am planning on heading to Scotland with my best friend in late December, and then getting my TEFL (basically an overseas teaching credential). So far I know that the Scottish people enjoy a pint of beer with every meal, are always being dragged behind those stuffy English, and that they have big grins when encountering tourists (no comment on their teeth color or their incessant mocking behind our backs).

So, am watching children and saving money until then, so wish me luck and throw some laundry detergent my way because I can see a lot of spit-up stains in my future.

Cheers Mates :-)
